FAQ

Do I need a referral from a Doctor?

Yes, in order to provide treatment following an evaluation a prescription for physical therapy from your doctor is required. However, in the state of Illinois, Physical Therapists are allowed to perform an evaluation to determine clinical need, but no treatment may be provided. In order to be evaluated and treated, a prescription from your doctor is necessary. If you have a prescription from your doctor for physical therapy, you can call us to get started at (847)-356-2895.

How long do treatments last?

Your first appointment will be the evaluation to determine the necessary plan of care and usually takes around an hour. Each subsequent visit can range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the condition we are treating.

What should I wear to my physical therapy appointment?

Wearing exercise clothing or loose fitting clothing would be appropriate. We need to make sure that the conditions we are working on are able to move and are accessible to provide you with the best care possible. We can provide gowns for you if necessary.

Do you take insurance?

Yes, we are continuously expanding our contracts for insurances. Please reference our insurance plans page and check back often as we will update new accepted insurance companies when they become available.
